Phan Rang to Lien Khuong Airport - Easy Rider Trip

Today is the last day of this easy rider trip with Mr Qua of Mui Ne Easy Riders. He is dropping me off at Lien Khuong Airport which is quite a way from Da Lat. I planned the trip this way so that I did not have to plan another trip to get there.

Poh Bo or Beef Pho pronounced “fuh” usually comes to the table as fresh rice noodles and beef in a broth and you make additions to suit your taste which can include: garlic slices, whole and/or sliced chillies, chill sauce, fish sauce, various vegetable leaves, bean sprouts, soy sauce and, my favourite, lime juice. So you can build quite a taste delight from the basic pho. Pho is a common breakfast for the Vietnamese people.
Next stop is Thap Po Klong Garai … these are more Cham towers. Nothing like a stroll in gardens and around some temples after breakfast.

Cham Towers were built by the minority Cham people between the 7th and 13th centuries. They are made of brick and are used by the Cham people to honour their gods. They really are beautiful buildings.

Standing at one temple and just looking across to another.

As if that wasn’t a great way to start the day … further down the road there is another quite different but still beautiful temple.

We ride on passed picture postcard views of rice paddies.

This photograph shows where we are going … leaving the low coastal lands and back up into the hills towards Da Lat. Many twists and turns through the mountains.

We had time to spare before going to the airport and Mr Qua took me to a mushroom farm.

The cats ear mushroom grows in the dark in bags of wood chips. I just looked this up on Google and I think that it is what we call wood ear mushroom.

Then Mr Qua from Mui Ne Easy Riders dropped me off at Lien Khuong Airport and that ended that part of my trip … now a flight to Da Nang and a week in Hoi An.
